Videogames
• The focus of the project is to create a simple videogame (ideally a 3D game), in
which you can implement lots of programming techniques to get an A*. My
idea is to create a 3d fps game with the aim of allowing people with low-end
devices to have the opportunity to play a fps with their friends without the
game constantly crashing
• The game is available for people of all ages with a low-end device to play it.
The game is mostly aimed for teenagers between 12-19 years who want to
relax after studying, but don’t have a very good device to play any kind of
games with their friends.
• The stakeholder for this project is a friend who wants to play a fps game in his
low-end computer without the game constantly crashing like other games he
tries to play in it
• The easiest programming language to use for this project is C# in Unity, as
there are loads of tutorials available to aid you and the game engine itself has a
vast variety of assets to include in the game, without the need of creating my
own assets; saving a lot of time
• Potential problems include:
• Lack of comments [concentrating too much in the code rather than the
documentation of the game]
• Plagiarism [very easy to copy someone else’s code and take credit for it]
• Ideas too complex to implement [time can be wasted if there is not initial
prototype of plan to create the game]
