STUDENT-CENTERED FOCUS TOGETHER WITH ZOOM
LENS
TOPIC : BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION AND ECOLOGY.
Utilizing Zoom and the Student-Centered Focus in the Student, the teacher
assigns a research task about vulnerable local ecosystems. Students create
conservation action proposals and choose study areas. To begin with, they use
autonomous research techniques to gather data on biodiversity and threat
factors. Subsequently, they convene a Zoom discussion meeting, where they
exhibit their results and examine protection tactics, thus promoting critical
analysis and cooperation among friends. This activity encourages both
environmental consciousness and active learning.
Thinking skills according to Bloom's Taxonomy

TOPIC 2: THINKING SKILLS ACCORDING TO BLOOM´S TAXONOMY

The teacher proposes a free artistic expression assignment, applying the

Student Centered Approach with the Wide Angle lens. The goal is to
encourage creativity and self-expression. First, students select an artistic
medium, such as painting, drawing, photography, and more. After that,
they employ brainstorming techniques to produce unique ideas. During
group feedback meetings, they exhibit their creations and meditate on
the creative processes, thus encouraging introspective evaluation and
individual progress. This activity aims to develop self-confidence and an
appreciation for art as a unique method of communication.
EXAMPLE
The task of analyzing a work using Bloom's Taxonomy "evaluation" skill was
assigned to us in a contemporary literature class. We will choose Gabriel García
Márquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and analyze how the author uses
magical realism to discuss Latin American history, politics, and culture. In terms of
mathematics, in contrast, we approach the solution of trigonometry problems that
require especially the ability to "apply" Bloom's Taxonomy, using concepts and
formulas to reach solutions. The difference lies in the fact that, while in literature we
assessed and judged the worth and effectiveness of a work, in mathematics we
merely applied concepts to solve certain problems.
