WHAT IS MISCONDUCT?
Misconduct is the failure by a staff member to:

a) Comply with his/her obligations under the UN Charter,

instructions.

b) Observe standards of conduct expected of a UN


employee.

c) Comply with National & International laws

d) Comply with the obligations towards national and local


laws and regulations in accordance with the status-of-
forces agreement where the impact is outside the national
contingent.
