-ELECTROPLATINGElectroplating is a popular metal finishing and finishing process used across industries
for a variety of applications. Although electroplating is very popular, few people outside the industry know the
process, what it is, and how it works.

-THERMAL SPRAY COATINGThermal spray coating is a method of coating in liquid, semi-liquid or solid
form onto the core material in hot conditions, one of the hot coating methods is powder flame spray coating.

-WELDINGWelding is a technique for joining metals by partially melting the parent metal and filler metal
with or without pressure and with or without additional metal and producing a continuous connection.

-METAL STITCHMetal stitching is an industrial technique for repairing cracked and broken cast iron, steel,
bronze or aluminum structures and their components. The process is carried out cold, without welding.

-ADHESIONAdhesion is the tendency of dissimilar particles or surfaces to stick together (while cohesion
refers to the tendency of similar or identical particles/surfaces to stick together).

-DISMANTLING THECHNIQUES
Removal / Dismantling of all installed devices.

-MECHANICAL AND CHEMICAL

CLEANINGMechanical cleaning is a method of cleaning
tools mechanically. Chemical cleaning can be used in the
process of cleaning metal that is covered by film, oil, dirt
and other contaminants by using certain chemicals
according to the type of impurity.

-DRY DOCKINGA dry dock or gudi is a narrow basin or

vessel that can be flooded so that cargo can float, then
drained so that the cargo can stop on a dry platform.
Gudi are used for the construction, maintenance, and
repair of ships, boats, and other watercraft.

-CYLINDER HEAD
The cylinder head is a component covering the cylinder block which is responsible for closing the cylinder cavity, where the closed space is the combustion
chamber. So, with this cover, combustion can occur.

-CYLINDER LINER
The cylinder liner is one of the components in the engine cylinder block which has the main function of acting as a seat for the piston so that it can move. The
cylinder liner is made of a special material that is able to withstand friction when the piston is working.

-PISTON
Pistons are plugs that are installed in internal combustion engine cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders and pump cylinders. Pistons are not only
found in vehicle engines, but also in other machines such as air compressors, hydraulic converters, and manual tire pumps.

-PISTON RING
Piston rings or what are also called piston rings are one of the motorbike components that can affect engine performance. This component is installed together with
the motor piston. As the name suggests, this component is ring-shaped and its diameter is larger than the piston.

-CRANKSHAFT
The crankshaft or what is called the crankshaft is one of the important components in a vehicle's internal combustion engine. This part is also commonly called the
crankshaft. Its main function is to act as a pivot for the movement of each piston. Every movement that occurs in the piston will later be transmitted to the vehicle's
transmission.

-BEARING
Bearings or lakers are bearings that function to make the rotating system move. Apart from that, this component is also useful as a motor balancer. These
components are generally found in vehicle rotating systems, such as clutches and wheels for example.

-PRECISION COUPLINGS
Coupling is a measure of how closely two routines or modules are connected Coupling usually contrasts with cohesion. Low cohesion is often a sign of a well-
structured and well-designed computer system and when combined with high cohesion, supports high maintainability

Ship’s Shafting
-INTRODUCTION OF SHIP'S SHAFTING
The propeller shaft is a ship component that functions to transfer/transmit power from the main engine to the propeller
to become a thrust to move a ship.

-PROPELLER
The propeller itself is a tool used to produce thrust that comes from engine power which is transmitted through the
shaft. In other words, the propeller functions to change engine power into thrust according to a combination of RPM
and speed.

-SHAFT AND BEARINGS

Intermediate shaft bearing is a connecting shaft support bearing located between the main engine and the propeller
shaft, which functions as a buffer against the load of the shaft so as to minimize the appearance of bends in the shaft.

-SHAFT ALIGNMENT
Shaft Alignment is a work process that is useful for aligning two objects or shaft axes so that they are symmetrical,
between the drive shaft and the shaft axis. Both are also driven by two interrelated supports.
