WHAT IS THE
ACCOUNTABILITY AND
RESPONSIBILITY TO THE
EMPLOYEES?
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability in the workplace means that all employees are responsible for their
actions, behaviors, performance and decisions. It’s also linked to an increase in
commitment to work and employee morale, which leads to higher performance.

RESPONSIBILITY

Employees have several responsibilities in the workplace. They should arrive on

time, complete tasks efficiently, follow safety guidelines, and maintain a clean and
organized workspace. Collaborating with colleagues, respecting diversity, and
communicating effectively are key. Meeting deadlines, contributing to a positive
work culture, and adhering to company policies are also important. Taking
initiative, being accountable, and continually improving skills contribute to a
productive and harmonious work environment.
