CEMENT:
CEMENT: The natural cement is obtained by burning and crushing the stone containing clay,
carbonate of lime and some amount of carbonate of magnesia the clay content in such stones
is about 20 to 40%. The natura cement is brown in Color and its best variety is known as the
roman cement. In 1796 Joseph Parker found that module of argillaceous limestone made an
excellent hydraulic cement where burned in the usual manner

SAND:
 Sand is a granular material composed of finely divided mineral particles.

foundation of human construction and a fundamental ingredient in
concrete, asphalt, glass and other building materials

WINDOWS:-
 A window is an opening in a wall, door, roof or vehicle that allows the passave

glazed or covered in some other transparent or translucent material. Windows
are held in place by frames. Many glazed windows may be opened, to allow
ventilation, or closed, to exclude inclement weather.

side- hinged windows, reffered to as casements, and sliding sash windows.
 WOOD WINDOWS
 Windows were traditionally made of wood, and it is still popular because it is so
versatile if old windows were drafty you can install weather stripping.

can also paint hardwood windows or give them a natural finish. Softwood
windows need to be protected by paint or a natural wood finish, and regularly

prone to condensation. Double- glazing may be required by building regulations
toreduce heat loss. Old aluminium windows were prone to rust, but modern
verdions are coated during manufacturing and are durable and low-
mmaintainance

BRICKS:
 A brick is building material used to make walls pavements and other elements in masonry
construction. Traditionally, the term brick reffered to a unit composed of clay, but it is now

classes, tgpes, sizes, which vary with region and time period. Two basic categories of
bricks are fired or non – fired bricks.

FABRICS:-
