o Smart Lights
o Smart Security camera
o Smart Thermostat
o Smart Locks
o Smart Plugs
Requirements:
• Smart Home Hub
o A central device that connects and manages communication between
different smart home devices.

• Mobile App or Software

o Apps provided by smart device manufacturers or third-party smart home
platforms (e.g. Google Home) for controlling and automating devices.

• Home Automation Software:

o Platforms like OpenHAB, Home Assistant, or Apple HomeKit that allow for
complex automation and integration of various
devices.
Methodology:
• Set Up 5G Connectivity
• Install and Configure Smart Devices
• Integrate Devices with a Hub
• Create Automation and Control Scripts
• Optimize and Maintain software and hardware
Expected Results
• Demonstrate real-time control and monitoring of home appliances
through a mobile app.
• Show the low latency and high reliability of 5G by streaming live video
from security cameras and instantly adjusting settings on various
devices.
• Create a sophisticated and reliable smart home system using the
capabilities of 5G technology
Possible Future Extensions
• Integrating the smart home system with modern and developing
technologies, such as :

• AI algorithms which automate household functions based on

behaviors and preferences of household members.

• Household Robots : Connecting these robots to the smart home

system for cleaning , maintenance and use 5G for real time data
processing and remote control.
