OBJECTIVES
1. To know what is the most reliable source of information
among Books and Internet as source of preferences when
classified according to students emotions or mood and
financial status?
2. What is the common reason why they preferred to read
books than to search in the internet same as why is
internet much more reliable than using books?
3. Is there a significant difference to the extent of using
Books and Internet as source of preferences when
classified according to students’ emotions and financial
status?
HYPOTHESIS
Based on the previously mentioned, the
following hypothesis will be subjected to
empirical testing.
There is no significant preferred choice
of sources of the students and there is no
significant relationship when classified
according to student’s emotions or mood and
financial status.

RESEARCH DESIGN
The foremost purpose of the study is to determine the
preferred source of information when classified according to
the mood and financial status of Grade 11 Accountancy
Business and Management students of Capiz National High
School.
Generally speaking this study used the mix method
of research as its research methodology. Mix method is a
methodology for conducting research that involves
collecting, analyzing and integrating quantitative and
qualitative research. This study used the mix method
because the research used questionnaire for their
quantitative data and interview for its qualitative data.
Research design refers to the over-all plan for collecting
data in order to answer the specific problem and also the specific
data analysis techniques or methods that the researcher intends to
use (Fraenkel, Wallen, & Hyun, 2012)
For its research design this study will be use the descriptive
correlational research design that will elaborated by the responses
of the interviewees. Descriptive research is defined as a research
method that describes the characteristics of the population or
phenomenon that is being studied. On the other hand
correlational is defined as a type of non-experimental research
method, in which the researcher’s measures two variables,
understands and assesses the statistical relationship between them
with no influence from any extraneous variable. To be more
specific the research design are as follows:
For specific problem No.1, description of extent of the students
using Internet and Books for the academic studies when classified
according to their mood and financial status. Descriptive research was
used because it discusses the extent of the students’ mood and
financial status in their academic studies.
For specific problem No.2, common reason why students make
choices as according to their mood and financial status in their
academic studies. Correlational research was being used because it
explains about the relationship between student mood, financial status
and their common reasons.
For specific problem No.3, significant difference in the extent of
choices of students for their sources of information to their academic
studies when classified according to their mood and financial status.
This study was correlational because it explains about the difference
between students choices of sources of information in connection in
their mood and financial status.
