sector bank by assets and world's 10th largest bank by market
capitalisation as of April 2021.
Sashidhar Jagdishan is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
and managing director of the HDFC Bank. The Reserve Bank of
India on 4 August approved the appointment of Sashidhar
Jagdishan as managing director and chief executive officer of
HDFC Bank for three years. Jagdishan replaced India’s longest-
serving CEO Aditya Puri.

Punjab National Bank is an Indian Public sector bank


headquartered in Delhi, India, it is under the ownership of the
Ministry of Finance, government of India. The bank was
founded in May 1894 and is the second largest government-
