INTRODUCTIO
N
Water scarcity is when we cannot meet our water needs. It can happen because demand is
greater than supply. Water scarcity happens in countries, regions, and communities on all
continents and affects a third of the world’s population for at least parts of the year.
CAUSES
• Climate change.
• Natural calamities such as droughts and floods.
• Increased human consumption.
• Overuse and wastage of water.
EFFECTS
The effects of water scarcity can be grouped into these
four broad areas — Health, Hunger, Education, and
Poverty.
SOLUTIONS
• Change consumption habits.
• Improve wastewater recycling
• Create affordable desalination technologies.
• Continue improving filtration technologies.
CONCLUSION
In the end, we hope that the officials will start applying
solutions and thinking of new solutions to address the
problem and find other water sources on the planet.
Because of the importance of water in our lives, we
advauce that you follow the general directives to conserve
water and try not to waste it. Have a nice day.
THANK
YOU
