INTRODUCTION
 Examination are necessary to judge the ability of a student.
There are different examination system across the world.
 Our examination system is very old. It was introduced in
India before partition. Englishmen wanted to educate Indians
But according to their needs. We even yet do not change our
system according to our needs.
 Our student do not learn or understand their subject .their is
no practical or field work at school or even college level .
 Students only have a rata system they learn some part of their
books just because of the reason so that they might be able to
pass in exams.

 Ff examination is basically a centralized system of examination in which
 Scheme of studies which we call syllabus is set by the HEAD OFFICE.
 Datesheet paper setting is also done by the head office .
but this system has some flaws which we will cover in our discussion
Importance of examination.
 To award the student with a degree or promotion to next class.
 To maintain the standard of education
 To place students in merit
 Comparison of students abilities
 To maintain the standard and evaluate the progress of institution.
 To get employment
 Selection of best student
 Evaluate the teachers performance.
 Satisfaction and happiness for the parents.
What to do before examination
Administration.
 There is an examination committee which is responsible for the
fair conduct of the examination under their supervision.
 Committee may set proper rules and regulation before exams
 Invigilation duties should be assigned and discuss a week before the exams.
 Exam schedule or date sheet should be gives to students two week before the
examination so they are mentally prepared for the exams.

 Exam schedule along with school timing pasted on the school as
well as class soft board.
 Sitting plan should be prepared by the class teacher a week before
the exams and pasted on the door 2 days before the exams.
 Award list should be prepared by the class teacher and handover
to the respective subject teachers.
 Check the question paper before hand over to student……
 Give the proper instruction to the students on very first day of
exams.
Duties of invigilator.
 Invigilators are required to present at the place of examination on time.
 Must ensure that students follow the sitting plan
 Candidates should occupy their own seats
 Maximum care should be given to ensure the confidentially.
 Invigilator are not allowed to punish students in case of using unfair means like
cheating.
 Paper should be counted before hand over to examination committee.
 Every single sheet should be assigned by the invigilator should signed.
 Invigilator should ensure that every student must fill the corner of the paper where
his or her information is written
Invigilator should check students so that the
can not carry any cheating material to exam
room.

•Avoid leaving the room during invigilation
•Don’t ask the students to leave the room
before the proper counting

How to solve these problems.

 Paper should be set by the subject teacher as he or she knows the ,mental capabilities of
students
 Paper should be a balanced paper so that a weak student may also participate
 Syllabus breakdown should be set by keeping in view the situation like unexpected
holidays, school functions etc.
 Creative writing should be starting from the class 5th onward when students having some
how concept of every thing.
 More focused on the English tenses but for this purpose only one tense or concept for a
weak.

 Prepare a sample paper it may be bench mark 2 according to the ff pattern.
