CHEERDANCE
CHEERDANCE, a team physical activity is sometimes referred to as
cheerleading. Similar to gymnastics, it is composed of an organized and high
energy routine, with skills and elements of performance performed with a lively
music. It is a form of active recreational activity and competitive sport. Its aim is
to encourage the crowd to cheer for the players in team sports. It is a whole-body
work out. By practicing or rehearsing weekly, a performer can build strength
specifically the lower body, the core muscles and shoulders and develop good
posture. It is a positive way to cut down excess body fat and burn off the
calories.

Performing cheerdance with your family and friends is
possible provided that they know how to dance, consider preventive
measures to avoid accidents, and follow the minimum health
protocols against COVID-19. To live life to the fullest, sustaining
fitness and wellness is necessary and important. Cheerdancing
contributes greatly in developing the said goals. Dancing like other
physical activities and sports will surely help you in sustaining
fitness but you have to also maintain your proper diet.
