Laparoscopic Surgery
 It is a surgery used to check abdomen and
reproductive parts of a women. It has a
thin tube named Laparoscope with
camera, light source and other equipment.
The thin tube is passed through a small
incision.

METHOTREXATE THERAPY
 It is the most common drug used to treat Ectopic Pregnancy.
 This Drug is an antineoplastic agent that inhibits cell proliferation by destroying the rapidly
dividing cells.

 This medication is given as an injection.
 Used for early ectopic pregnancy without unstable bleeding.
 It doesn’t require to remove fallopian tube.
 Diagnosis is very important before taking this medication.

 Avoid bathing or swimming.
 Take rest for 4 – 6 weeks.
 Eat fruits and vegetables.
 Drink 6 – 8 glasses of water everyday.
 Avoid exercises.
 Avoid alcoholic beverages and highly processed food items.
 Don’t lift anything heavier.
