In 2014 we built the Golden

Donkeys Farm with European
Standards and 140 donkeys.
 At Golden Donkeys Farm
you can find:
• The History of Donkeys
• Wax museum of traditional works
• An olive tree of over 1500 years-old
• Traditional Cyprus house
• Small church for ceremonies
• Coop
• Restaurant
• Greenhouse
• Shop with traditional products and donkey milk products
• The dairy laboratory
• And of course the donkeys!
 • Now the home for 200 donkeys,
100 female and 100 male.

Donkey Riding. 1. No one can go for a ride if over 100 kg

The Process
Milking by hand
Soaking the milk in turmeric
Pasteurizing the milk in 63 degrees
Some of the milk is bottled and sold

After Pasteurization we
freeze the milk in special
trays at -70 degrees.
After 24 hours we place the
trays in the freeze dryer
machine.
