Objectives
1. define deciles
2. determine the lower boundary and less than
cumulative frequency of the given grouped data
2. locate the position of Dk
3. solve the deciles of the grouped data
4. interpret the computed result
DECILES

- those values that divides the total


frequency into 10 equal parts
DECILES Dk = LB + i

LB - Lower boundary of the Dk class


N – total frequency
cfb - cumulative frequency before the Dk class
- frequency of the Dk class
i – size of class interval
