MOTIVATION: MOVING TOWARD A MEDIA PLAYER THAT LISTENS

Sort my playlist by mood: Sad Songs

Sorry this feature is not Available

X-Voice offers a user experience where songs are arranged in a two-dimensional space that relates to what the songs sound like. Songs that are in close proximity sound similar, and songs that far apart sound different. Instead of searching and browsing lists, users can navigate a song space based on a model of the similarity between the audio signals.

PROJECT SCOPE

The aim of this project is to establish unique software for music listening which places emphasis on listening music, managing libraries, synchronizing libraries with portable devices, streaming radio. This music player remove one of the major problem that is arranging a list according to more systematic and user friendly way.

LOGIC BEHIND THIS

Automatic Playlist Generation and Music Library Visualisation with Timbral Similarity Measures Song Similarity and Music recommendation Systems If the information in a song is not sufficient to determine the extent to which a listener will enjoy the song, how then can we go about recommending new songs to listeners? Considerable effort has gone into the development of recommendation systems, which typically involve content-based features, collaborative filtering, or some hybrid combination.
