HOW TO REDUCE THE E - WASTE
Reduce: Whenever possible try to use fewer
electronics. This means using energy- efficient
products and only buying what you need.
Reuse: Instead of throwing away old device, try
to repurpose them for other uses or find
someone who cane use them...

• Every year millions of electrical and electronic
devices are discarded as products break or
become obsolete and are thrown away.
• These discarded devices are considered e –
waste and can become a threat to the
environment and to human health if they are
not treated, disposed of, and recycle
appropriately.

• Old CRT tube televisions.
• LCD, OLED, and plasma televisions.
• LCD monitors, smart displays, and tablets.
• Laptops with LCD monitor.
• OLED desktop monitor, laptops and tablets.
WHY DO WE REDUCE WASTE
This reduce greenhouse gases, saves energy
and creates jobs. By reducing the amount of
waste you create, you help prevent pollution
and protect the environment. You also limit the
amount of waste going to landfill, preserve
natural resources and save money.
 WHAT ITEM CAN YOU REDUCE
• Reduce your food waste.
• Say no to bottled water.
• Use reusable rags and cloths for cleaning.
• Buy foods with litter or no packaging .
• Rethink food storage.
