OF PHILOSOPHY
• Study of ideas about knowledge, truth, the
nature and meaning of life and other
fundamental aspects of reality and human
existence.
• It is based on rational, abstract and
methodical reasoning.
• It also refers to a particular set of ideas or
a way of living according to certain
principles.
• It is often defined as the foundation upon
which upon knowledge is based.
• Derived from the Greek word “Philos”
