22Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old.
23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was.
24When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no
fountains abounding with water.
25Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth;
26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of
the dust of the world.
27When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon
the face of the deep,
28When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep
became strong,
29When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress
his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth;
30Then I was by him, as a master workman; And I was daily his delight,
Rejoicing always before him,
31Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.
4. How was Christ begotten in the
flesh?
"And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost
shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall
overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall
be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." Luke 1: 35
5. What scripture states that
the Son of God was God
manifested in the flesh?
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God." "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father,) full of grace and truth.“ John 1: 1, 14.
6. What does Christ say is His relation
to the Father?
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2: 11.
“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through
the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful
flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh” Rom 8:3
“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he
took on him the seed of Abraham.” Hebrews 2:16
8. Why was it necessary that He should be
born thus, and partake of human nature?
"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His
angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works."
Matthew 16: 27. See Matt. 24: 31:
11. How did Christ assert an equal
proprietorship with His Father in the kingdom?
"The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather
out of His kingdom all things 'that offend, and them which do
iniquity."
Matthew 13:41.
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are
on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for
Him.” Colossians 1:16
12. To whom do the elect equally
belong?
"And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and

great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together

the other."
Matthew 24: 31.

bestowing the final rewards?
Note-In the texts (Matt. 16:27; 13:41; 24:31) in which Christ refers
to the angels as "His angels" and to the kingdom as "His kingdom"
and to the elect as "His elect," He refers to Himself as" the Son of
man." It thus appears that while He was on earth as a man, He
recognized His essential deity and His equality with His Father in
heaven.
14. What fulness dwells in Christ?
“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you,
and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me

Father?” John 14:9
(Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was
sent from God, have seen him.) John 6:46 NLT
15. What does God (Jehovah) declare
Himself to be?
