Anywhere between 1 lakh to 3 lakh ( educational credential assessment, police

1. Australia:
● On Study Visa
● The UK offers a dependent work visa if you opt for a Masters course that is one year or longer. (Visa change talks are going
on wherein you will be allowed to bring dependents only if you opt for a research based Masters or Doctorate degree)
● New Zealand offers a dependent tourist visa if you take a level 7 course or more. Unfortunately the dependent will not be
allowed to work on this visa.
● Canada offers dependent work visas but it takes at least an year to be granted in the current scenario.
● Australia offers dependent tourist visas only to a limited sector of students.
● Ireland does not provide dependent visa
● On Work VIsa
● Care Workers will not be given dependent visa in UK as per latest reports
● If you have a sponsored work visa in any other sector, then you can bring your
dependents.
When should I bring my dependents?
● On a study visa, whether you will get time and will be able to make enough money through part time to take care
of all the needs of your dependents, especially if children are involved.
● On a work visa, whether you will be able to manage the time and finances as your dependent spouse should find
a job and if you have children their school and other needs should be met.
● Foreign countries possess strict rules when it comes to children's safety, no child under the age of 12 should be
left alone at home anytime without the supervision of an adult. It can lead to serious legal complications.
● Better option would be to settle yourself first and then bring your dependents.
Emotional Stages of Moving
1. Excitement
EXCITEMENT and curiosity. Exploration of food and destinations. Wondering about new people , job, study atmosphere, the
excitement of creating the life you dreamed of.The paying off of all the risks you took, hurdles you crossed.
2. Frustration
Begins with loneliness. Bvz it is mostly very quiet unlike our place. No idea how to get around, too many rules, unfamiliarity.
Frustration about food, washrooms, no bidet, the whiteness and over cleanliness. The best solution is to be active on social
media , get in touch with people prior to your visit.
3. Adjustment
Your first two weeks will be complete chaos! It will be filled with finding a job (if you don't have one
already), getting a flat, setting up a bank account, getting to know the city, learning how to get around,
finding friends, paper work on the social security number, getting adjusted to the shared
accommodation, lack of space, kitchen equipments, laundry mode, dressing, climate based, climatic
conditions. Worry less as within 3 months you will get into the flow.
1. Homesickness
Once you settle into the life there, you will be busy initially, too many tasks to meet, no time to think., but once
things settle in, homesickness strikes. Especially while seeing pics of friends and family back home, events
and festivals, food back home. U will feel left alone. Especially those who come alone leaving their families
behind. Cope up mechanism includes making your fav traditional food or if money allows buying it. Watching
movies or listening to music and also hanging out with friends from your native place during the weekends.
Some people work overtime because work takes your mind off things.
6 to 8 months into being in the new place, you will feel like i have got this.\. I can do it. U still miss a lot of
things, but your mind adapts to the thought that this is my place, i am going to find happiness and build my
future here. U will feel more calm and confident. Now your familiarity with the place increases, and so does
your love for the place. Ultimately, you choose to migrate because you dream of finding happiness there.
ULTIMATELY, IT IS
WORTH ALL THE
EFFORTS AND
OBSTACLES!
