NA PRÉ HISTÓRIA
Durante a pré-história e até os dias de hoje para
os outros animais, a lei da natureza é a seleção
natural, onde o mais adaptado, ou em termos
mais populares, o mais forte sobrevive. Ou seja,
era essencial o condicionamento físico da
espécie para a sobrevivência do ser humano.
Apesar disso, não se tinha muito conhecimento
sobre o desenvolvimento da força e sim sobre
formas de se defender, como criação de armas
rudimentares, o domínio do fogo, etc.

GRÉCIA ANTIGA
A Grécia Antiga era conhecida
por sua valorização da beleza e
da perfeição física. Os atletas
gregos, inclusive, competiam
em festivais como os Jogos
Olímpicos, que surgiram na
época como uma forma de
adoração aos deuses gregos.

espécie de futebol chamada

vai contra as tendências do

Durante a Idade Média, as
práticas corporais e esportivas
sofreram uma profunda
transformação. Sob a forte
influência da Igreja Católica,
muitas atividades físicas foram
desencorajadas ou até mesmo
proibidas, vistas como
pecaminosas ou distração dos
estudos religiosos. As atividades
físicas que sobreviveram nessa
época eram principalmente
voltadas para o treinamento
militar, como a luta com espada
e o uso do arco e flecha.
NA ERA RENASCENTISTA
Como o renascentismo se caracteriza pela
revitalização de alguns costumes greco-
romanos, uma das coisas que voltaram
foram os esportes diversos e o culto ao
corpo. Ou seja, resumidademente, as
restrições acabaram e voltou a ser como
era na antiguidade com as tecnologias do
renascentismo e da idade média.

As Origens dos Esportes Modernos
Os esportes modernos têm suas raízes no século XIX, quando atividades físicas organizadas e
regradas começaram a se popularizar na Europa e na América do Norte. Eventos como os Jogos
Olímpicos da Era Moderna, fundados em 1896, ajudaram a padronizar e difundir modalidades
esportivas em todo o mundo.

Desenvolvimento Tecnológico
À medida que os esportes se popularizaram, o desenvolvimento de tecnologias como câmeras,
cronômetros e equipamentos cada vez mais especializados permitiu um avanço significativo no
registro, medição e análise do desempenho atlético. Isso, por sua vez, contribuiu para a evolução das
técnicas e estratégias utilizadas pelos atletas.
