A cyclone is a powerful storm that forms over the ocean. It's


like a huge spinning top of wind and rain. The center of the
storm has low pressure, and strong winds rotate around it .

Cyclones, can have significant consequences. Here are some of the


common consequences associated with cyclones:
• Destruction and Damage
• Flooding
• Storm
• Many Casualties
• Impact on environment
• Impact on Economy

After a cyclone, effective management and response are crucial
for minimizing further damage, providing immediate assistance
to affected individuals . These are some key aspects carried out
by the disaster management team after disaster has taken place :
• Assessing the damage
• Search and Rescue for missing individuals
• Emergency Relief and Shelter for injured
• Restoration and Reconstruction of infrastructure

What is a Flood ?

A flood is a situation where a large amount of water covers areas that are
typically dry, such as land or roads. It occurs when rivers, lakes, or other
bodies of water overflow their banks or when heavy rainfall leads to
excessive accumulation of water.

• Many People Severely Injured

• Some people lose their lives
