LEARNING
 LSRW:

• The full form of LSRW is Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

• LSRW are the four pillars of effective communication.
• When it comes to learning, LSRW skills of learning often involve
listening first, followed by speaking, reading, and writing.
 • The most important among the
LISTENING : LSRW skills is listening.
• Listening is the ability to accurately
understand and interpret the
importance of what is being said
during a conversation.
• Though considered a receptive
skill, It is an active process that
requires practice for improvement
and acquiring the same.
SPEAKING:

• Speaking is the second of the LSRW skills and typically the

second skill we pick up.
• Communicating or expressing one's thoughts and feelings
verbally is referred to as speaking or talking.
• It is an interactive process of constructing meaning that
involves producing, receiving and processing information.
READING:
• The concept of reading is understood in different ways. It means
understanding, interpreting, analyaing and assessing.
• There are many different reading strategies.
• The four basic categories of reading practices:
1. Skimming
2. Scanning
3. Intensive
4. Extensive
 • Among the four mentioned skills, writing is
WRITING: the most difficult of them all as it is an
extension of the other skills.
• In order to write, one must be familiar with the
grammar of that particular language, correct
word order and vocabulary.
•This would help to convey the message
coherently.
•Writing is not possible without reading. A
person who reads a lot has a better
understanding of different writing styles and the
language.
