• AI HISTORY
• In 1950 Alan Turing published a paper in which he speculated about the
possibility of creating machine that think. He created turning test.
• In 1956 the term AI was coined by John McCarthy at dartmouth conference.
He defined AI as the science and engineering of making intelligent machines.
• WHAT IS AI ❔

• The study of computer system that attempt to model and apply the
intelligence of human mind.
• A branch of computer science dealing with the simulation of intelligent
behaviour in computers
• The capacity of a machine to imitate intelligent human behaviour.
• CURRENT STATUS OF AI

• Google assistant, Siri, Alexa, Cortana are all

intelligent digital personal assistants on
various platforms (ios, android, window and
mobile).
• They help find useful information when we ask
for it using our voice.
• We can use them to make calls, send messages,
set reminders, take notes, recognize music,
find great restaurants, check your calendar, and
many more.
• CHALLENGES
• Computing Power
• Tolerance Power
• Intuitive Thinking
• Judging Power
• ELEMENTS OF AI
• FUTURE OF AI

• With the rate at which technology is

improving it is logical to believe AI
will continue to get more and more
sophisticated.
• APPLICATIONS OF AI

• Many military applications like “smart bombs” and unmanned drone aircraft.
• Rapid translation of foreign languages.
• Development of new drugs or model clinical studies in animals and humans.
• Remote control surgical procedures which uses robotics and computer based
optical system.
• Advanced weather modeling.
• INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

• Machine vision inspection system. Cameras and computers are placed on

assembly lines to find defects.
• Robotic systems which use computer automation and mechanical equipment.
Take place of human in manufacturing of cars.
• Macros
.Computer mimics the programmer's actions
. Advanced financial systems
.Quickly analyze trendsAllows for rapid investment decision.
• Consumer
.Personal computer
.Computer applications for apple and ibm.Voice and character recognition.
• Entertainment
.Games, such as chess, where over 120 million moves can be recognized
Thankyou so much.
