ABSTRACT
This project addresses the issue of ammonia (NH3) gas emissions from bird litter in the poultry sector,
contributing to odor and fly-related problems. The goal is to create an automatic sensor model for efficient monitor
High ammonia in poultry farms can make birds sick, affecting their breathing and growth. It also harms the
environment, impacting air quality and surrounding areas. It also pose health problems to farm workers, causing
respiratory problems and irritation.
Minimizing ammonia in poultry farms requires proper ventilation optimization, and attention to factors such
as temperature, humidity, bedding, and feed composition for a healthier environment. Regular monitoring is essential
for sustained effectiveness.
This project uses esp8266 microcontroller for enabling real-time data monitoring and remote accessibility.
Also automatic preventive measures for ammonia concentration is provided.

METHODOLOGY
 The sensor MQ135, DHT11 and soil moisture sensors are integrated into ESP8266 microcontroller.
 The environmental factors such as temperature(20-25°C), humidity(40-60%), moisture(20-25%) and ammonia
concentration(below 25 ppm) are monitored in real time using sensors.
 Each sensor is set predefined threshold levels. When it goes beyond that specific value the system triggers alerts.
 These alerts are sent directly to a designated mobile phone via WI-FI.
 LED outputs are also provided for each sensor so as to indicate that a particular factor surpassed the threshold value.
 To neutralize the environmental changes the temperature stabilizer and sprayer are turned on automatically.
 By using IoT, it can also operate in semi automatic mode.
