LESSON 6 -

TECHNOLOGY
 Part 1
• Within about 2 minutes, you will have a short conversation
with the examiner and you will talk about your life,
hobbies, friends, school…

SPEAKING  Part 2
• Each student will receive 2 pictures, prepare for 30 seconds,
EXAM then give a talk, comparing and contrasting 2 pictures,
within 2 minutes. When you finish your talk, the other
student will ask you 2 questions about the content of your
talk.

 Part 3
• You will receive pictures and you will talk to your partner
about the most wanted or unwanted activities. This part
focuses on your conversation skills where you will express
your agreement or disagreement with your partner.
ASSESSMENT
• Maximum: 20 points

• Four criteria:

• 1. Grammar and vocabulary – 5 points


• 2. Discourse management (your ability
to express ideas, using linking words) –
5 points
• 3. Fluency and pronunciation – 5
points
• 4. Interactive communication (assesses
your ability to maintain and developed a
conversation with your partner) – 5
points
