Executive Summary
 Nepal, with its beautiful landscapes and diverse
culture, has huge potential for agro-tourism.
 This business plan aims to establish an agro-tourism
venture named Himalaya Agro Tourism Farm in
Nepal that offers tourists an opportunity to experience
the rich agricultural heritage of the country.
 Our agro-tourism venture will showcase the
traditional farming practices of Nepal, while offering
a unique experience to External tourists through
agricultural activities and cultural immersion.
Business Description
 Our agro-tourism venture will be located in the rural part of
Kaski district, which will allow tourists to experience the local
farming practices, culture of the region, local foods, handicrafts
facilitating them homestays as well.
 Our venture will involve setting up farms that showcase the
traditional farming practices of Nepal, including rice cultivation,
vegetable farming, and livestock rearing.
 Visitors will be able to participate in these activities, gaining
hands-on experience in traditional Nepali farming practices.
 Additionally, we will offer cultural immersion experiences,
where visitors can engage with the local communities,
experience traditional Nepali music, dance, and food.
 Agro-Tourism include the following activities:
 Facility of Homestay for visitors.
 Fruit picking
 Harvesting food and crops
 Milking cows and buffaloes
 Feeding or petting animals
 U-Pick operations
 Educational and demonstrative tours
 Walking and bicycling trails to visit around the farm
area.
 Traditional dance and music everyday at 8 in the

 Our main target market will be international tourists who are
interested in experiencing traditional Nepali farming practices and
culture.
 Also internal tourists are our other priorities.

to promote our agro-tourism venture.
 Our online marketing efforts will focus on social media platforms
like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, where we will showcase the
experiences of our visitors and the traditional Nepali farming

promote our venture.

and events, where we will showcase our agro-tourism venture to
potential visitors.

through financing from Bank as well as angel
investors.
 We expect to break even in the third year of
operations and generate a net profit of Rs30,00,000
in the fifth year of operations.
 Our financial projections are based on an estimated
3,000 visitors in the first year of operations.
