WHAT IS FLOW CHART

Flowchart is a diagram that explains the process flow
of a programme. The main function of a flowchart is
to illustrate the course of a programme from one
process to another. Thus, the flow of the programme
becomes easily understood by everyone. In addition,
another function of the flowchart is to simplify a
series of procedures to facilitate understanding of the
information.
 WHEN TO USE
FLOW CHART
We use flow chart if we want to:
•develop understanding of how a process is
done
•To study a process for improvement
•To communicate to others how a process is
done
•When better communication is needed
between people involved with the same
process
•To document a process
 HOW TO MAKE A
FLOW CHART
1.Determine the purpose or function of the flowchart
2.Add steps and connect them with arrows
3.Add decisions
4.Show any loops back to previous steps
5.Share your flowchart and ask for feedback
