have a local effect, produce numerous

 10.9 EFFECTS OF AGING ON THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM

1. Age related changes include a gradual decrease in

a) GH in a people who do not exercise
b) Melatonin
c) Thyroid hormones (slight desease)
d) Reproductive hormones
e) thymosin
2. Parathyroid hormones increase if vitamin D and Ca2+
levels decrease.

3. There is an increase in type 2 diabetes in people with a

familial tendency.
