● INTRODUCTION:

● NABARD was established on 12th July 1982

● NABARD is set up as apex development bank
● It has all the mandate to support integrated and sustainable rural development
and secure prosperity of rural areas.
History
1979 The committee of Mr . B. Sivaraman
recommended the establishment of NABARD
on 28,

1982 NABARD was officially established as an

Key Features of NABARD
