Holocaust meaning
• The word Holocaust means destruction and
slaughter on a huge scale that’s caused by fire
or nuclear war
• It also means a sacrifice
• It was the genocide of European Jews and other
groups that had been conquered during the
Nazis world war two
• They also include devastation, carnage, inferno,
annihilation and conflagration
• The possibility of getting shot by a nuclear
holocaust was very rare in the 50s
The world war two

People call the world war two WWII or WW2.

It was a global war that lasted from 1939 to
1945. It took a lot of the world's countries
forming together to become two military
alliances. It took more than 100 million
people from over 30 countries. Germany,
Italy, Japan, France, Great Britain, United
States, Soviet Union and China were the main
countries in world war two.
