OBJECTIVE:

• This project aims to build a rapid recruitment System that will facilitate the
interaction between college students, the placement cell of the college and the
recruiting companies.
ABSTRACT:

• The rapid recruitment System is a web based application developed in windows


platform for the placement department of the college in order to provide the
details of its students in a database for the companies to their process of
recruitment provided with a proper login . The system contains all the
information about the students. The system stores all the personal information
of the students and their technical skills that are required in the CV to be sent to
a company. The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout
the organization and outside as well with proper login provided.
EXISTING SYSTEM:

• The existing system is for the placement cell to send out mass e – mails or
through the presence of posters at a central location.
• This system requires that a student constantly peruses their e – mail of the
posters to remain informed about the placement process.
• Every company that appears for recruitment will demand student credentials
and the lack of a computerised system for the same means that students will
have to make many copies for each company they interview for.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:

• In the proposed system students need not worry about innumerable copies of
each certificate, instead the system will enable a greener and less paper
intensive approach to placements.
• Companies will be able to access student credentials online and these can be
shared to managers located elsewhere before a final decision is taken.
• The possibility for student research into the company will give students an
avenue to impress the company even before the interview and it will help many
more students to understand the company they are interviewing for.
• The automated system will be able to produce graphs on trend and statistics on
demand for use by the placement cell.

• TITLE : An Automatic Online Recruitment System based on Exploiting Multiple


Semantic Resources and Concept-relatedness Measures.
• ABSTRACT:—Due to the rapid development of job markets, traditional recruitment
methods are becoming insufficient. This is because employers often receive an
enormous number of applications (usually unstructured resumes) that are difficult to
process and analyze manually. To address this issue, several automatic recruitment
systems have been proposed. Although these systems have proved to be more effective
in processing candidate resumes and matching them to their relevant job posts, they still
suffer from low precision due to limitations of their underlying techniques. On the one
hand, approaches based on keyword matching ignore the semantics of the job post and
resume contents; and consequently a large portion of the matching results is irrelevant.

• TITLE : COLLEGE PLACEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.


• ABSTRACT :This paper is about a technology that provides quick placement
management system in college unlike the traditional system where students as
well as TPO may face many problems like insufficient details, less security,
problems with manual working etc. The purpose of the Placement Management
System website is to overcome the disadvantages of traditional placement
system. It enables the end users to register online through their CMSys(College
Management System) account which is a website of college created for
attendance, term test marks, etc., read and apply for the company of their
choice and get frequent updates regarding the placements from college TPO.

• Keeps track of the end-to-end Campus Placement process .

• Improves student placement and retention rates.


• Time-saver reduces human effort.

DISADVANTAGES :
• It takes so much time for a placement officer to collect students details and approve the details provided by
them.
• Poor communication between students and placement officer, so here suggesting about new placements is a
hard task.
• Students may not know about company details.
CONCLUSION:

• Departmental website will helpful for all the students in college for getting the
information about placements.
• Students in college are also able to know all the upcoming events take place in
college.
• They can easily register their names by login
• By visiting on this website all the students will able to know all the companies
visiting to our college.
