BACKGROUND:
The DRMC management is continually committed to
implement the relative features of RA. 8371.
Identified problem:
“Inaccessibility & inequity of
health services for IP (GIDA)”
Initial actions taken:
 Reconstitution of Indigenous People (IP) Committee
 Provision & utilization of IP facility (Balay sa Tribu-BsT)
 Appointment of focal-point person (HEPO III)
 Deployment of BHW as BsT caretakers
 Furnishing of BsT facility

Actions to be taken:
To ensure sustainable development, the it is apt for the committee
to create a program of activities for the welfare of said
beneficiaries.

VI. OBJECTIVES:
 The program aims to ensure safety, order, comfort and security of
all residents and caretakers of the facility.
 Ensures orientation or health education for residents of the
following areas;
 Personal and Social Hygiene of IP
 Hospital integrated healthcare services
 Cleanliness and orderliness of the facility
 Food accommodation
 Mechanism in availing the financial support provided by
Malasakit & others.
 Admission procedures
 Navigational and referral procedures within the hospital and
to the communities.
 Establishment of IP referral network within the catchment
area of DRMC.

3. Ang kahinlo ug kahapsay sa pasalidad ug mga mulolupyo kinahanglan masiguro sa
tanang oras o higayon.
4. Ang insaktong pagtagad, pagtahud, pagpanalipud, ug pag-promote sa IP rights,
culture, traditions ug practices.
5. Guinadili ang pagpasulod sa mga naka-inom nga residente aron sa siguridad sa
tanan residente.
6. Guinadili ang mga pagdala sa mga butang sama sa “rice cooker, water heater,
butane, electric fan asta pusil ug mga hait nga butang sama sa kutsilyo.
7. Gikinahanglan nga ang pagkaon mahatag sa insaktong oras ug malabay ang basura
sa insaktong paagi.
