Job Roles – CIO
• Responsible for over all Information Technology in the organization.
• Preparation of IT road map to upgrade to Dynamic IT environment.
• Developing the procedure for continual improvement
• Converting the Electronic Data into information to various levels of the Business.
• Preparation of Annual IT projects plan and submitting the Capex & Opex budgets for approval.
• Evaluating and suggesting the IT applications and infrastructure based on the Business goals.
• Ensuring all IT related Documents and Licensing is managed well.
• Responsible for IT internal Audits and inspections.
• IT Assets Control
• Vendor Management – IT Hardware and Software
• Plan and execution of IT resource development ( Technical Trainings to upgrade the
knowledge)
• Devise and deploy IT Policies in the company. Ensuring those policies are followed by all IT
Users.
IT Operations Manager/ In-charge
• An IT operations manager oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of an organization's information
technology (IT) department, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely.
• IT Operations Manager ensures High Availability of IT infrastructure.
• Execution of IT Policies in the organization.
• Defining SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for IT helpdesk tasks and ensuring the SLAs are met.
• Monitoring and reviewing the SLAs fixed by Service Providers and taking necessary action, if necessary.
• IT Assets management and record keeping.
• Ensuring all documentation of all IT Assets and Security Key documents (i.e., Access codes , Passwords
etc.)
• Safeguarding all Backup and Snapshot tapes or storage devises.
• Periodical reviews with System Administrator, Network Administrator, Securities in-charge and Helpdesk
in-charge and making a report and taking necessary actions with reporting authorities approval.
• Need to execute and responsible for implementing and monitoring of following policies & Procedure:

• Capacity Management Policy
• Compliance Roles & Responsibilities Policy
• Employees Dos and Don’ts

• To deliver IT services, the IT Manager works alongside: The service desk,
security teams, development teams, project managers.
• Build long term relationships with outside vendors for IT related products
and services.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department.
• Coordinate and supervise IT staff members
• Ensures all ICT related Licenses and their renewal are paid on time to avoid
mishaps of disconnections from system authors/ developers or hosts.
• Generally, an IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for several
responsibility areas:

System Administrator
• System Administrator is in- charge of Servers and the systems in the Organization
• System Administrator Duties are
• User Administration (Active Directory or any application servers)
• Maintaining the Servers and Systems
• Quick response in case of any failures( Hardware or Software)
• Monitoring the server performance
• Managing and monitoring the FTP (File Server) providing authorization to user for access
• Responsible for Backups & Recovery and executing the Backup & Recovery policies
• Ensuring systems are up to date with all Service packs.
• Need to execute and responsible for implementing and monitoring of following policies:
• Authorization Policy
• Backup Policy
• Password Policy
• Access Control Policy
• Log review and retention Policy
• Windows Server Hardening Guidelines Policy

• NOTE: Responsibilities within the domain of IT systems administration is distributed across different
job titles depending on size of the organization or the scope of work required. For instance, the roles of
Database Administrator (DBA), Security Administrator, and Network Administrator may be distinct
job roles at a large enterprise but accomplished by an individual SysAdmin at a smaller firm.
System Administrator Duties
Network & Security Administrator
• Network & Security Administrator’s duties are
• Designing and deploying the network Structure
• Installing and configuring the Network equipment in the Organization
• Monitoring and Managing the network and communication
• Expanding the network to new offices, Weighbridges, factories (where ever IT users exists)
• Configuring and managing the VLANS, WAN, SDWAN & LAN
• Defining Network Securities and periodical reviews of the security logs
• Managing all Communication systems
• Data Communication/ Internet
• Mail communication Facility
• Video Conferencing Facility
• Voice Communication Facility
• Unified Communication Facility
• Need to execute and responsible for implementing and monitoring of following policies:

Security Surveillance Officer
• The use of CCTV plays a vital role in what keeps our company safe,
serving as a useful tool to prevent and reduce crime by way of
recording evidence for use in a court of law.
• As a member of the security installation team, He/she will be
responsible for undertaking various pre planned and reactive
maintenance tasks and new installation works encompassing
either, CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems equipment. He/she
must demonstrate a knowledge of Security System Standard (SSS)
and knowledge of National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Standards.
He/She will be required to participate in the company’s on call
rota.
• Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of CCTV Surveillance Officer are to:
• Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems – IP
Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment, following drawing of
electrical layouts and building plans in accordance with NSI and relevant Codes of
Practice/Policies.
• Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing of Disabled Refuge, Public Address, Call System &
Induction Loops in accordance with relevant SSS Standard and other relevant Codes of
Practice/Policies.
• Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability
to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings.
• Liaising with ARC (Alarm receiving centers :- A highly secure monitoring station, manned round
the clock by trained experts, 24 hours a daily)
• Production of high quality commissioning and handover documentation and as fit drawings.
• Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and
Safety i.e. Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.
• Client (CCTV Monitoring Team and Relevant Staff) training and demonstration of systems to
explain the systems working and functionality.
• Incase of incident occurrence MUST be ready to respond to Police Officers’ investigation
questions regarding CCTV footage extract.
• Responding to out of hours service calls.
Monitoring Clerks/Operators
• CCTV Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• This job entrusts monitoring team with many responsibilities, ranging from
operating and monitoring banks of screens, reporting incidents as evidence, and
potentially contacting the Security Surveillance Controller Officer, Security
Manager and emergency services as and when required.
• For the role to be completed efficiently, a CCTV/Fleet Monitoring Operator needs
to be exceedingly observant with a high level of concentration, and be able to
divide their attention in order to monitor multiple occurrences taking place at a
single setting.
• They will have to have a good understanding of body language in order to
monitor crowds, intercept trouble before it occurs, and track specific people.
• Throughout every duty undertaken, CCTV operators must be diligent, maintain
integrity and accuracy, and ensure the confidentiality of all information gained by
compliance in line with standards and legislation.
IT Support/ Helpdesk
• Support Team/ Helpdesk’s duties are
• Attending all IT user’s Hardware related issues
• Managing Printers and end user IT equipment
• Based on the issue redirecting the issue to the concern IT wing in-charge to resolve
issues
• Analysis of the incidents and the frequency of similar incidents and their impact.
• Submitting a monthly report of such incidents to the IT Operations Manager
• Install and configure software and computer systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.
• Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical
problems.
• Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire
organization.
• Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
• Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
Business Applications Engineer
• Business Applications teams are responsible for development, installing and managing the
business applications to facilitate the smooth business operations of the organization.
• Collecting the business requirements & Documentation
• Identifying the suitable applications and recommending the suitable applications to reporting
authorities
• Preparing Scope of Work, process flow documents for the development of application.
• Project coordination and Project Management to ensure the project is successfully delivered
• Preparing the test scenarios and submitting the test scenarios to the Development team and Top
Users.
• Running test cycles

• Integration Test
• User Acceptance test
• Documentation of all test results
• Preparation of Training Manuals
• Conducting the training sessions to users of the application
• Coordinating with Business teams for Data cleansing and data compilation
• Preparation of Cutover strategies and Go-live preparations

Fleet Monitoring Officer
• The key responsibilities are:
• To install GPS and FLS to company owned fleet/vehicles for location and fuel level
monitoring.
• To supervise all tracking installation teams involved i.e. Auto Electrician and Fuel tank
drilling specialist assigned to the task.
• Liaising with Transport Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure that repairs are
completed allowing movements to happen seamlessly.
• Respond to fleet investigation or inspection report proposal/request from concerned
department.
• To drive high quality repairs in the most cost effective manner
• Planning, control and co-ordination of pre-purchase of replacement spares for faulty
devices.
• Provide daily report in regard to vehicle tracking device status to the concerned parties,
OR special report on emergencies or police order that is guaranteed by the company.
• Train fleet monitoring team(clerks) on how to operate and handle monitoring equipments
in a secluded monitoring room.
• Mandated to summon any vehicle at any time based on its availability with genuine reason
in order to inspect/investigate or repair tracking device.
Driver DBs/IT Clerk
• Register new drivers and loaders details in AMS database.
• Collects drivers licenses and submit back to HR Office for safe keeping
• Update renewal for drivers’ license expiry date in AMS database.
• Activate and Deactivate drivers and loaders from AMS System with
justified reason from HR Department.
• Maintain filing of drivers registration details and IT based gadget loan
forms for PDAs, Mobile weighbridge.
• Generate driver/ loader AMS reports for transportation department to
assist in troubleshooting problem areas.
• Keep records and undertake other routine administrative duties.
