BITSAT Mock Test Analysis

Need to touch 320+

Mock Test Number 1
Attempted on 30-04-2024, Score: 225/390
Overall accuracy of 81% with 99 questions attempted!
Aim: Let’s get that to 90% accuracy till next exam?
Subject Wise Analysis:
• Apparently you are smart enough and have good
score in aptitude so you can easily touch 60/60 in
Logical Reasoning. Keep working hard and
revisiting whatever you have revised and a perfect
score is very much doable!
• Score in English, 20/30… What you can do is
make sure you practice Paragraph Section where
they give you a passage and work on general
vocabulary. Read random stuff and pick up new
sentences!
• As for getting full marks in Logical Reasoning
section, practice: Family Tree Questions; Paper
Folding Question; Visual Series (Non Verbal)

Let’s see how the next Mock Test goes!

Subject Wise Analysis - Chemistry
Mistake #1: Took Mn +6 as +5 and solved, don’t make this again!
Costed you 4 marks…

Mistake #2: Study P-Block Properly now… Make sure you leave
nothing unturned this time! At least make yourself familiar with P-
Block by the next mock test.

Concept: Although I got this correct, I’d like to keep it here for
future revisiting
Subject Wise Analysis - Chemistry
Fluke, make yourself familiar:

Mistake #3: Revisit defects + semi-conductors section of Solid

State again and make yourself familiar with that part, also practice
some questions (around 45 should be good?) from the chapter to be
able to tackle any problem in the future. Read NCERT!
Subject Wise Analysis - Chemistry
Practice colligative property questions!

Mistake #4: Silly mistake yet again! Read carefully for god sake!
Despite knowing screwing up, please check twice before marking –
you had 10 minutes remaining at the end! If checked this properly,
you could have scored another 4 marks!

Concept: Not a mistake, but study biomolecules properly, specially mug

up all protein names & structure – try to do at least 5 structures a
day! This garbage has actual weightage and can be a road block in your
way to full marks in Chemistry!
Subject Wise Analysis - Chemistry
#6: Aspirin is antipyretic i.e., a drug which is responsible for
lowering the temperature of Feverish organism to normal, other
antipyretic drugs are paraacetamol, Phenacetin.
Mistake #6: Please try and practice as many questions from
Chemical Kinetics – don’t want to get thrown around by such an
easy chapter now, do we?

Overall Chemistry Analysis:

• Study P-Block Elements, as much as possible before the
next mock test and revise whatever you can from
NCERT!
• Read D & F block element important points, go through
the PDF perhaps and revise all reactions again!
• Do Chemical Kinetics again, properly!
• Avoid making silly mistakes, lost around 12 marks
because of silly mistakes and 2 cause of bold attempts in
this paper – minimize that! Score could have been 70!
Chemistry score in this test: 58/90,
by next test, try for 75/90!
Subject Wise Analysis - Physics
Mistake #1: Silly mistake, lost 4 marks…

Concept:
Accuracy is closeness to true/exact value.
Precision is based on instrument, more decimal places in
measurement indicate more precision.
So, 20.1 cm is less precise as compared to 19.65 cm, because 20.1
cm has lesser number of decimal places.
Subject Wise Analysis - Physics
Mistake #2: Silly mistake, lost 4 marks…

Practice Capacitor + Electrostatic Questions from HC Verma.

Practice Semi Conductor Related questions more, they might look easy but aren’t so easy – read NCERT while you are
at it!
Overall paper summary:
Made around 5 silly mistakes, lost 20 marks due to that!
Made around 3 bold attempts, lost 3 marks due to that!

Overall known losses: 23

Score w/o losses: 23+225 = 248/390

Aim for next test, 260/390?

Date for next attempt, 2nd May 2024.
