 Three sources of hearing

By the Word of God

By the Word of Man
By the Word of the Devil
• As Christians you must know that in every situation, God is
speaking, man is speaking and the devil is speaking. You decide on
which one you want to hear
• Whether you are aware of it or not, you are hearing something
hourly, daily, weekly buy only hearing by God’s word brings FAITH
and exercising your faith makes you please God - Hebrews 11:6
 • Christians are meant to hear BY the Word of God if truly we will
exercise FAITH

 For you to generate faith, then your hearing has to be by the word of God. You cannot afford to hear as
others if you want to perpetually live in faith.

 Your source of hearing has to be the word of God

 • If you must hear by God’s word, it means you must know God’s
word

 Until you know the word of God, you cannot hear by the word of God.
 The word of God will not make any sense to you if you don’t know the word.
 If you are not consistent in the reading and studying the word, you will be a stranger to the word
 • It takes a very conscious effort to hear by God’s word

 Hearing by the word of God requires a conscious effort as against hearing the word of man and
that of the devil
 Deligence is required to hear by God’s word
 • The more you choose to hear by God’s word, the more your faith
grows

 Faith is a living thing that has capacity to grow.

 Great faith
• If FAITH comes by hearing, it then means faith can also go by not
hearing
