Introduction
Parking systems are essential in managing the efficient use of urban
space, guiding drivers to available spots, and improving traffic flow. This
project simulates a car parking system using computer graphics, creating
an interactive virtual environment where users can practice parking skills.

3
Soft requirements

Operating System : Windows 7/8/9/10/11

Language : Open GL
Compiler : GNU GCC(MinGW)
Software : Code blocks
Scope and objectives

 Implement different vehicle types with unique handling characteristics to simulate realistic vehicle
behavior.
 Simulate environmental factors such as weather conditions and time-of-day changes impacting
parking
 Develop realistic 3D models of various parking settings, including open lots and multi-level garages

 Enhance user parking skills through practice scenarios and real-time feedback.
 Create engaging and challenging parking game levels with leaderboards and achievements.
 Assist urban planners in visualizing and optimizing parking lot designs to analyze vehicle flow and
pedestrian movement.

Advantages.

 Convenience: Makes it easy to find a spot for your car.

 Safety: Keeps your car and you safer with security measures.
 Less Traffic: Helps reduce traffic jams by organizing parking.
 Weather Protection: Shields cars from rain, snow, and sun.
 Property Value: Increases the worth of properties with parking.
 Income: Generates money for owners and cities.
 Accessibility: Provides spaces for everyone, including those with disabilities.
 Efficient Use of Space: Organizes cars neatly and makes good use of land.
 Eco-Friendly: Can include features like electric car chargers and green areas

8
Disadavantages.

 Takes Up Space: Uses land that could be used for other things.
 Hurts the Environment: Can make areas hotter and cause water problems.
 Expensive: Costs a lot to build and keep up.
 More Traffic: Brings more cars, leading to traffic jams.
 Causes Pollution: Leads to more driving and air pollution
