• It is a huge bowl of hot gases

• It continuously give out heat and Light.

FORMATION OF DAY AND NIGHT


• Day and night are caused by the rotation of the earth

• The earth completes one rotation on its own axis in about 24 hours

• Only half of the earth faces the sun at the time. These places have day.

• As the earth rotates, the place that had night eventually come to face the sun and Experience day and
the places that had day experience night.
