 ABSTRACT
Electricity consumers are often faced with the problem of inaccuracy and delay in
monthly billing due to the drawback in reading pattern and human errors.

 It reduces the pressure of the user to stand in queues for bill payment and charges.

 The importance of Electricity online bill System can’t be over emphasized because its
calculation reflects the exact power consumption for prospective consumers.

 It provides an environment to maintain the consumer details starting from receiving

bill, making bill payments and so on.

 Consumers can lodge complaint and make their bill payments just by logging into the
system.
 PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

 The system reduces the physical work of the employees and provides a full
support throughout the process of bill management.

 Admin can update and change the record of data feed by the employees into
the system.

 Employees can track any irregularities which are complained by the consumer.

 It provides online payment option to the consumer so that he doesn’t need to

go electricity board for bill payment..

 MySQL : It is a database, widely used for accessing querying,
updating, and managing data in databases.
 Windows Xp, Windows 7
 SQL 2008

 Memory 1GB RAM
 MODULE OF THE PROJECT
Login:
After the registration, one can login to the system as the end-user of the
system on the behalf of the user.

User:
The user can be anyone either a customer or an employee. If the user is an
employee than he can make changes to the data like adding units in the bill, used
by customer.

Admin:
This module can have only one account and this account has all privileges
which a user account might not have. If the admin verifies a registering user his
account will be created otherwise not.

 CONCLUSION:
In order to ensure that the intended task effectively using real
data so as to ascertain the acceptance of the system and
operational efficiency. It is possible for the administrator to
know the consumers have made payment in respect of their
bills for the current month, thereby improving the billing
accuracy , reduce the consumption and workload on the
Electricity Board Employees or designated staff, increase
scheduling and eliminates variation in bills based on market.
It manages the consumers data and validates their input with
immediate notification centralized in Electricity Board Offices
across the nation.
