What is conditional sentence?

A conditional sentence is a type of

sentence in English that expresses
a result or consequence of a
specific condition. These sentences
consist of two main parts: the
conditional clause (if-clause) and
the result clause (main clause). The
conditional clause sets forth a
condition or requirement, while the
result clause states what will
happen if that condition is met.
