PREVALENCE OF

ISCHEMIA ASSOCIATED
WITH KNEE & ELBOW
DEVICES IN MILITARY
TRAINING
OBJECTIVE:-

• Determine the frequency and severity of ischemia among military personnel using these
devices during training .
• To identify potential risk factors and correlates of ischemia such as device type , wear
duration and individual physical characteristics.
HYPOTHESIS:-

• The risk of ischemia increases with the duration and frequency of knee and elbow support
devices ( e.g ., rigid braces) are associated with a higher risk of ischemia compared to
other (e.g., elastic sleeves )
PROJECT:-

Project:
• Modular design enhanced performance comfort and sustainability
SPECIFICITY :-

1. *Ergonomic Design*: Contoured pads that conform to the natural shape of the body, reducing pressure points and discomfort.

2. *Breathable Materials*: Moisture-wicking, ventilated materials that promote airflow and evaporation, keeping the skin dry
and cool.

3. *Smart Padding*: Adaptive padding that adjusts to individual needs, providing customized support and cushioning.

4. *Sustainable Materials*: Eco-friendly materials sourced from recycled or biodegradable sources, reducing environmental
impact.

5. *Dynamic Flexibility*: Pads that adapt to movement, providing flexible support and stability without restricting range of
motion.
• 6. *Cooling/Warming Technology*: Integrated temperature regulation systems that keep the skin at optimal temperatures
during exercise or recovery..
