OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The general objective of the study aims to determine the level of


awareness of nutritional status in relation to job performance of police officer in
Indang, Cavite. specifically the study aimed to:

• determine the demographic profile of the Police officers in Indang, Cavite in


terms of age, sex, civil status and rank.
• Asses the level on awareness of nutritional status of police officer in Indang,
Cavite in relation to their job performance in terms of BMI, Food intake,
Lifestyle, Physical fitness, and Disease.
• Determine if there is significant relationship between the demographic profile of
the police officer in their level of awareness on nutritional status in relation to
their job performance.

SUMMARY

- The data suggested that officers were very aware of BMI and its impact on
their health and job performance.
- Police officers in Indang, Cavite had a good level of awareness regarding
the importance of proper food intake in relation to their job performance.
- Police officers in Indang, Cavite has a high level of awareness regarding
the importance of lifestyle and its impact on job performance.
- The data showed that officers were very aware of how their physical fitness
impacted their job performance and were actively engaged in maintaining
and improving their fitness levels.
- It is assessed that various aspects of how health issues or diseases
influenced their duties and overall performance.

CONCLUSION

• The findings of this study confirm that there is a significant relationship


between the nutritional status and job performance of police officers in Indang
Cavite.
• Police officers who maintained a healthier nutritional status, indicated by a
balanced BMI, adequate food intake, healthy lifestyle choices, and regular
physical fitness, demonstrated better job performance.
• The study indicates that demographic factors such as age, sex, and rank have
no impact on the awareness on nutritional status while, civil status has an
impact to the job performance of police officers.

RECOMMENDATION

• Nutritional programs aimed at promoting balanced diets, regular meals, and


proper hydration are essential.
• Regular health assessments, including BMI measurements and fitness
evaluations, should be conducted to monitor officers' health status.
• Encouraging participation in fitness programs and providing access to gym
facilities can enhance physical fitness.
• Stress management workshops should be offered to help officers cope with job
demands using techniques like mindfulness and relaxation exercises.
• Nutritional counseling services should also be available to provide
personalized guidance on healthy eating.
