Retrofit
• Switchboards:
– Require a window to be cut in LV section to access
UniConn face-plate
– Require dead-man door installed over the face plate
– OR: use stand-alone version when space not sufficient
• Variable speed drive:
– A longer face-plate would be required to fill in the hole
filled by HMI
– Replacing HMI with UniConn can be carried out in the
field in less than 15 minutes.
