Independent Clause:

Dependent Clause:
it doesn’t make sense on its own as a
sentence.

3. Coordinate Conjunction
Conjunction that connects the same syntactical
structure, such as same part of speech word, phrase
and phrase, clause and clause.

What are the conjunctions?


For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So

Example:
- Merry opened the door.

Conjunction that connects independent clause and

Addition = Moreover, Furthermore, In addition, Besides
Time = When, While, Whenever, Before, Since, After,
Until, For
Condition = If, Unless, Otherwise
