 Pengertian
Sepsis adalah suatu kondisi dimana terjadi reaksi peradangan
sistemik (inflammatory sytemic rection) yang dapat disebabkan
oleh invansi bakteri, virus, jamur atau parasit. Selain itu, sepsis
dapat juga disebabkan oleh adanya kuman-kuman yang
berproliferasi dalam darah dan osteomyelitis yang menahun.
Efek yang sangat berbahaya dari sepsis adalah terjadinya
kerusakan organ dan dalam fase lanjut akan melibatkan lebih
dari satu organ
 Etiologi
Mayoritas dari kasus-kasus sepsis
disebabkan oleh infeksi-infeksi bakteri
gram negatif (-) dengan persentase 60-
70% kasus, beberapa disebabkan oleh
infeksi-infeksi jamur, dan sangat jarang
disebabkan oleh penyebab-penyebab lain
dari infeksi atau agen-agen yang mungkin
menyebabkan SIRS.

Bakteri gram negative yang sering

menyebabkan sepsis adalah E. Coli,
Klebsiella Sp. Pseudomonas Sp,
Bakteriodes Sp, dan Proteus Sp
 Klasifikasi
Sepsis Dini
Merupakan sepsis yang berhubungan dengan komplikasi obstertik. Terjadi
mulai dalam uterus dan muncul pada hari-hari pertama kehidupan (20 jam
pertama kehidupan), Sering terjadi pada bayi prematur, lahir ketuban pecah
dini, demam impratu maternal dan coricomnionitis

Sepsis oneset lambat

Terjadi setelah minggu pertama sampai minggu krtiga kelahiran. Ditemukan
pada bayi cukup bulan. Infeksi bersifat lambat, ringan dan cenderung
bersifat local.
 Tanda dan Gejala
Tanda dan gejala umum dari sepsis:

demam atau
01 hypothermia 02 sakit kepala

03 Berkeringat 04 Nyeri Otot

Tanda dan gejala yang kemungkinan muncul pada pasien:

01 perubahan sirkulasi 04 Tachycardia

penurunan perfusi
02 perifer
05 pyresia atau
temperature <36°C

03 Tachypnea 06 hypotensi
 Pemeriksaan Penunjang

Kultur (urin, SDP & EKG Elektrolit serum

darah, luka,
sputum)

Trombosit & Laktat dan BUN/kreatinin

GDA glukosa serum

1. Pemberian antibiotik
pengambilan specimen kultur
