 If the variable DC Supply is not available. We will very the IB by

changing the base resistance. If the base resistance is higher
then low IB will fl ow, and If the resistance is lower then High IB
current will fl ow.

Circuit. Will It Be Helpful Anyway?

 A Potenti ometer is a three terminal resistor with a sliding or rotati ng

contact that forms adjustable voltage divider. If only two terminals are
used, one end and other wiper, it acts as a variable resistor or rheostat.
 A potenti ometer is a passive electronic component. Potenti ometers work
by varying the positi on of a sliding contact across a uniform resistance.
In potenti ometer, the enti re input voltage is applied across the whole
length of the resistor, and the output voltage is the voltage drop
between the fi xed and sliding contact .
