ASOM Mala - ASRIP RI 2 to RI 8 -Eco corridors
• Project documents DPR EIA volume IV A with a cost assigned EMP for
public disclosure. Engineering interventions are planned to protect
people, vehicles, infrastructure, trees cut with compensatory
plantation, emphasis given to temporary man and machinery at Labor
camps and road works, Health and sanitation, PPE, training for
working with least disturbance to local people.
• Bank funded EIA/EMP - Implemented by Part D of contract.
• Stakeholders - PIU/ PMU review of the project with timely meetings
and PPT recording the progress of ESHS and mitigation measures.
River Boundary Protection’s : prevention of soil
erosion with geo bags. New roads and high
embankments along rivers - mitigation measures
• Rivers and tributaries flowing through the project roads are
temporarily diverted , trained and allowed to flow back through new
