INTRODUCTION

Bourdon tube pressure gauge

in a pressure measuring
device which used to measure
medium to high pressure
Working:-
The Bourdon tube pressure gauge consist of
bent tube of an elliptical cross section,a
calibrated scale,pinion,link and sector.
When high pressure steam or air
enters into the tube, the bent tube tends to
unbend. The deformation of the tube is
transmitted from end point to the pinion
and the pointer will show the pressure on
the scale
