Accounting is the process of recording,
summarizing, and interpreting financial
information to track and analyze a business's
financial transactions.
Structure of the course
• Pearson Edexcel IAL Accounting is a linear qualification with 2 papers.
• Candidates have to sit for AS & A2 for different exam session or can sit
in the same exam session.
• In Paper 1 & 2 the time is 3 hours and containing 200 marks.
• Paper 1 consists of The Accounting System and Costing.
• Paper 2 consists of Corporate and Management Accounting.
