INTERNSHIP
• An internship is a period of work experience offered by an organization for a limited
period of time.

• An internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the intern

and the organization. Internships are used to determine if the intern still has an
interest in that field after the real-life experience.

• Internships provide current college students the ability to participate in a field of

their choice to receive hands on learning about a particular future career, preparing
them for full-time work following graduation.

INTRODUCTION TO EMBEDDED SYSTEM

• Embedded system is a combination of hardware & software which is designed to

perform one or more specific set of functions. In an embedded system, there is
only one application software that is typically burned into ROM.

• Embedded systems are specialized computing systems designed to perform

dedicated functions within a larger system or product. Unlike general-purpose
computers, which are designed to run a variety of applications, embedded systems
are tailored to execute specific tasks efficiently and reliably.
Features of Embedded System

• Embedded systems are small size, low power consumption, rugged operating
ranges & low per unit cost.

• Embedded systems are based on microcontroller i.e., CPUs with integrated

memory or peripheral interfaces.

• Examples of embedded systems include various products such as washing

machine, microwave ovens, cameras, printers and automobiles. They use
microprocessors and microcontrollers as well as specially designed
processors such as digital signal processors (DSP).
Introduction

• A cellphone-operated land rover is a mobile robot that can be controlled

wirelessly using a mobile phone.

• The mobile phone sends Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) signals to the land
rover, which are then decoded to determine the desired movement.

• The land rover can be programmed to move in different directions based on the
DTMF signals received.
Land Rover System
• Land Rover is controlled by using Android mobile phone. It is needs to touch
button in android phone to control the rover in forward, backward, left and right
directions.

• The rover has two dc motors at each of its front and rear side. Front side motor is
used for giving direction to rover means turning left or right side, and rear side
motor is used for driving the car in forward and backward direction used to handle
the mobile application.
Components
1. Arduino Uno

2. Bluetooth Module (HC-05)

3. L293D Motor driver

4. DC Motors

5. Power supply

6. Android Mobile
Working of Land Rover

• A cell phone-operated land rover typically involves integrating a microcontroller

or microprocessor into the rover's control system. The rover receives commands
via a mobile app or SMS messages sent from a cell phone.

• These commands are then interpreted by the microcontroller to control various

functions of the rover, such as movement, steering, and possibly other features
like camera control or sensor data retrieval.
• The rover and the cell phone communicate wirelessly, usually through
technologies like Bluetooth. This setup allows for remote operation of the land
rover using a cell phone from a considerable distance.
Cellphone operated Land rover
Advantages

• Less expensive

• Easy to operate

• Flexibility

• Wireless control
Disadvantages

• Limited range

• Battery life

• Durability
Applications
• Agriculture

• Construction purpose

• Event management

• Home Assistance

• Environmental monitoring
Future Scope
• Your smartphone could act as a hub for monitoring the health of your Land Rover.
It could alert you to any potential issues, schedule maintenance appointments, and
even provide real-time feedback on driving habits to optimize fuel efficiency and
performance.

• Cell phone-based security systems could provide additional layers of protection

for your Land Rover, such as geofencing alerts if your vehicle leaves a designated
area or remote tracking in case of theft.
Conclusion

• The development of a cellphone-operated Land Rover represents a significant

advancement in automotive technology. By integrating smartphone technology with
vehicle control systems, this innovation has a range of possibilities in various industries,
from agriculture and construction to emergency response and exploration.

• The ability to remotely operate a Land Rover via a cellphone not only enhances
operational efficiency but also improves safety by enabling operators to perform tasks
from a distance, reducing exposure to hazardous environments.
